"I, Mr.
M.S.J. Ballal, a lecturer in Chemistry and a native
of Satara district, I have a family, consisting
of my parents, brothers, sisters, wife and children
who are solely dependent on me.
During August 2001, at 38 years of age, I started
getting of chest pain, which increased stress. On
the advice of my family doctor, I consulted Dr.
Sanjay Korde, a Cardiologist at Satara who diagnosed
that the pains were anginal in nature and that;
I should consult Dr. M.S. Hiremath for further management.
Ever since, Dr. Hiremath has been an angel to my
family and embodiment of God himself, since he gave
me a second lease of life. |
| The angiogram showed 95% blockage
in left main Stem and an angioplasty was an evident.
The angioplasty was uneventful and within 48 hours
I recovered. However, early 2002, there was a recurrence
of chest pain and CABG appeared to be the only alternative.
On my and my family's insistence, to avoid CABG,
Dr. Hiremath along with his team and with the
whole hearted support of Dr. K. B. Grant, a stent
history was achieved by avoiding CABG and performing
repeat angioplasty at the same place.
Today I live a completely normal life without
any complaints. I avoid taking stress and exercises
regularly, & eat nutritious diet. I also check
my cholesterol levels regularly and maintain the
same at very low levels.
Me and my family are indebted to Ruby Hall, Dr.
Shirish (M.S.) Hiremath, his team and Dr. K. B.
Grant for my new life and pray God that, He bestows
Dr. Shirish (M.S.) Hiremath with a long life,
so that, he is able to give new lives to many
Ballals during his life time.
